I am sure you all have heard about the “problems” that have arose as a result of careless and idiotic operation of the Nintendo Wii. In my honest opinion - I think that it is a bunch of crap. First of all, the Nintendo Wii is not meant to be “chucked” at the TV Screen, and second of all I think most of these people are only doing it for attention. All that this is is a few disgruntled Playstation fanboys thinking they can get Nintendo to pay for their “broken” TVs that are supposable caused by the Nintendo Wiimote. This image below pretty much outlines how pathetic these people are:

First of all, there is absolutely NO WAY that a child could cause the Wiimote to go flying with such force.
Until next time, I am off.

Well I really lucked out. Long story short - I got a Wii !
After basically giving up on trying to get a Wii, I woke up Sunday morning and received a message on MySpace from my good friend Matt V. He said that his mom had gotten three Wii’s and asked if I wanted to buy one. Naturally I said “YES!” and quickly went to the bank to withdraw some cash from my checking account and I was off to get my Wii at Matt’s house. After Matt’s house I went home, and set it up. Let me just say - The Wii totally OWNS the Playstation 3 - The Wii Sports game is so precise with the Wiimote that it actually makes your mind THINK that you actually have a bat in your hand. The technology that Nintendo has created is amazing. When I first got my Wii I did not have any games with it except Wii Sports which comes free with all Wiis so I was off again to get The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I called my dad and had him pick it up for me, and then the Wii got even better. Zelda is such an amazing game, the Wii just makes it 10x better. I played for three hours yesterday, and three hours today - I just can’t get enough ! If you are thinking of getting a Wii, I assure you it is well worth the money. I will update the post with some pictures / screens soon so stay tuned.

Well guys, I am sad to say that it does not look like I am able to get a Nintendo Wii on the launch day. I should have pre-ordered it like the rest of the world, but I thought that I would have been able to get one - I thought wrong. As of right now my only chance of getting it would be to wake up (Or simply just stay up considering it is almost six in the morning) and head on over to Circuit City and HOPE that I am able to get one by ten…. Yeah right. Looks like I will be forced to wait until the major stores get their next shipments in *Sigh*. I was looking forward to playing Sunday too.. Oh well, at least I have my new Nintendo DS game - Final Fantasy III - to hold me off until then.
